(March 12, 2008) -- A Weekend Warrior dealership in southern California confirmed today that at least 200 employees had been laid off. One Midwestern dealer had heard that number could be as high as 400 people. Phones at the company's headquarters were not being answered this afternoon.

(March 12, 2008) -- President Bob Wert says due to an economic down turn, they've been forced to reduce their workforce by 47 hourly employees. That's a 17-percent decrease overall from 278 employees to 231.

Athens Park Homes acquires Flat Creek Lodges

(Feb. 26, 2008) -- All manufacturing from the Flat Creek Lodges plant in Alabama will relocate to Athens, Texas. Mike Burleson ,owner of Flat Creek Lodges, will become a full time employee of Athens Park Homes as vice president of the Flo Lodge Division.
