(Feb. 13, 2008) -- The defendants would find a new buyer or driver for the motor home and have that person sign an agreement promising to pay on the original loan, often requiring down payments of thousands of dollars. The new buyers were told they were buying the motorhomes, the lawsuit alleges.

(Jan. 4, 2008) -- At the heart of the surge has been a 17.5 percent rise in the Canadian currency against the U.S. dollar in 2007, taking the so-called Canadian "loonie" to a modern-day high near $1.10 in November. It was the first time in more than three decades that the Canadian currency was worth more than the U.S. dollar. The currencies have since settled near parity.
