I hear lots of talk about gas prices again and how we are going to see $4 per gallon this year. So I did a little search to see if anyone had picked up on this yet and related it to our industry. I found this story from a news station in Syracuse, NY: "With gas prices on the rise and the threat of $4.00 a gallon gas this summer, many people are changing their travel plans. But high gas prices are not affecting the RV industry. At the 38th Annual RV and Camping Show at the State Fairgrounds, hundreds of people turned out to get a look at this year's models. Smaller campers are the most popular this year because they can be towed and won't waste much gas mileage. But high gas prices may be helping local businesses. Most people say they will stay closer to home and visit the New York State parks instead of traveling out of state. Some local campsites are already booked for summer holidays. The RV industry has seen its best profits in the last five years because of the baby boomer generation. This year, RV's are more affordable because of the recent cut in interest rates. " Any thoughts on this? Wolfgang
